IDS currently offers two grades of PDC cutters:
- Tiger 2- A premium cutter with excellent abrasion resistance and high impact resistance, the Tiger 2 replaces the Tiger cutter. Increased diamond density and stronger bonds within the diamond microstructure result in improved thermal stability, more highly concentrated diamond on the cutting edge, and a tougher diamond table.
- RNC- A high-value, mid-range performance, general purpose cutter with high impact resistance. The RNC cutter is used in a wide variety of applications.
We’re also committed to research and development, meaning the newest IDS PDC cutter is already in the works.
